Horse Hotel & Bunkroom for Travel Rest Overnight

Sometimes when traveling with horses, you and your equine passengers need a safe, comfortable spot to rest during the journey. Valley Meadow Farms Trails Getaway offers 3 stalls and 2 open areas inside our main farm pole barn—accommodating groups as large as 21 polo ponies. (While we love animals, please note that no other pets are allowed.) Guests may stay in our new Bunkroom with 2 twin beds or in their own truck or trailer with sleeping provisions.
A seasonal barn-side outhouse with sink and shower is also available.

Located in mid-state Western Maryland and South Central Pennsylvania, we’re just off Interstate 68 on beautiful Sideling Hill at the famous "cut in the mountain," 8 miles west of Hancock, MD. Nearby highways include I-81, the Pennsylvania Turnpike/I-76, and I-70.

Recently named a “Favorite Horsey Spot” by The Equiery Magazine, Valley Meadow Farms spans adjoining acreage in both Maryland and Pennsylvania.

Available year-round by reservation. Negative Coggins Certificates required.

“Of all the places we have traveled, thousands and thousands of miles…this is the first place I’ve already felt at home as you get out of the car and it is good for people to come to a place like this. This is a place I can endorse and I will.”
